This time we offer you to reveal the spa Town Tsaghkadzor, the “blue pearl” of Armenia, Sevan and Dilijan. At the beginning of the day, your guide will greet you at the lobby of your hotel in Yerevan, in order to head to the spa Town Tsaghkadzor. This town is considered as the most developed ski resort in the whole country. The very name Tsaghkadzor means "The valley of flowers or flower canyon" in Armenian. Also, it is well-known as a major spa and health resort. Tsaghkadzor is very famous winter town, as it is tourist-friendly and different infrastructures have been created for a comfortable stay: resorts, free WiFi access throughout the ski tracks, roads, ropeways, ski rent points. As we arrive, you will take a ropeway and reach to the top of the Mount Teghenis, from where a perfect view over the Armenian landscape will gratify you. Later, when the ropeway takes you back to the starting point, we will take a short city tour in Tsaghkadzor.
Next, we will drive to the "blue treasure" called Sevan to enjoy our leisurely walk on the lakeshore. Afterward, we will take a direction to the Peninsula of Sevan, to admire its 9th-century monastery. The structure is located on the top of the peninsula and its dominating position on the promontory rewards us with spectacular views over the lake. Next, we will take a road to Dilijan. This town, also called “Little Switzerland” of Armenia, is a worthwhile place to visit and unfold its lush forested area and the rolling roads through the mountains. We will take a stroll in its old part of Dilijan, known as Shamberyan street, where traditional wooden balconies give a unique charm to this cozy and lively street. Afterwords, our curiosity will bring us to the 13th century Haghartsin Monastery, nestled in the forested mountainside. It is an astonishing harmony of nature and architecture. The monastery’s name comes from "hagh" (play) and "artsin" (eagle, a form of the actual word "artsiv"), hence, the eagle which was soaring over the main building of the monastery. This is a totally enchanting and the place is ideal for taking memorable pictures. At the end of the day we will drive back to the hotel in Yerevan.
