From Yerevan: Private 5-Day Tour of Armenia and Artsakh

In the morning your professional driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to your first stop at the sacred Monastery Khor Virap. While here have a spectacular view of Mount Ararat from its view deck. Afterward, head to Noravank Monastery and admire the surrounding red cliffs. As the evening approaches reach Artsakh. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around its capital, Stepanakert, and take some pictures with the famous "We are our mountains" also known as the "Tatik and Papik" monument. Stay overnight in Stepanakert.

Explore more of Artsakh and visit the Monastery of Gandzasar. This religious structure is perched on the hilltop and overlooks the dense forests and proud mountains of the Martakert Region that have protected the architectural pearl for centuries. From here, continue to the city of Tigranakert, founded by the Armenian king Tigran the Great. See the replica fortress recently constructed near the original one that houses a museum and where the archeological findings dug in the area of the original fortress are exposed to the visitors. Return to the capital Stepanakert for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After having breakfast in Stepanakert, go to the city of Shusha which is situated on a hillside beside a deep gorge. Leave Artsakh and head back to Armenia. On the way to Yerevan, stop at the gorgeous Monastic Complex of Tatev. Here, take the longest reversible cableway and marvel at the Vorotan Gorge. In the evening return to Yerevan and enjoy a well-deserved rest after an exciting 5-day trip.
