Day 1

At the beginning of our day, your guide will meet you at your hotel before heading to the northern region of Lori, a generous and lush land. We will arrive at a small hamlet near Odzun where our horses and our guide will be waiting for us. We will progress through the Lori Canyon where we will ride along the river Dzoraget and its quite remarkable canyons. After a picnic, we will visit the Hnevanq Monastery on the opposite bank of the river. The construction of the monastery was financed in the 7th century by the representatives of the glorious Mamikonian family, former leaders of the Armenian military forces. Our next stop will be the "brother and sister" fortress located on two opposite hills on each bank of the Dzoraget River. At the end of the day, you will be driven to your camp in Haghpat.

Day 2
The second day will be devoted to hiking. The day will begin with a visit to the monastery of Haghpat, then, we will begin our hike who is rich in monuments and sites of interest. We will stop at the sites of Kusanats Anapat, Zarniayr, Kayanapert, the Church of St. Karapet and the monastery of Sanahin one of the most famous masterpieces of Armenian architecture also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and then discover the 7-storey tower and arrive at our final point which is the Sanahin Bridge located below on the Debed River, important river of Armenia. We will discover during this day landscapes combining steep canyons dug with a divine hand with soft and green landscapes. At the end of the day, we will return to our bivouac in Haghpat.

Day 3
The third day will be dedicated to the Debed River flowing through the Lori. You will have the great privilege to enjoy a good rafting session (Duration of 1:20 for 12 kms). Your session will begin with an introduction by your instructor then you will go rafting from the city of Toumanian to cross the city of Alaverdi and finish near Akhtala. On your arrival, you will be transported to the monastery of Akhtala to rest and enjoy its exceptional calm. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Odzun, where you will be waiting for your mountain bikes. We will leave for Stepanavan, with a stop at the fortress of Lori. You will be amazed by the beauty of the landscapes breathing freedom, green meadows and canyons. Upon your arrival in Stepanavan, your vehicle will be waiting for you to return to Yerevan.
