Tatev is an Armenian apostolic monastery located in the province of Syunik, in the south of Armenia, which was founded in 895. It is one of the most important architectural monuments of the country and one of the most popular tourist destinations. It is also connected by the longest direct cable car in the world that connects Halidzor to Tatev by "flying over" the Vorotan Gorge.

Khndzoresk is a village and rural community east of Goris with many caves and rock formations inhabited until the middle of the 20th century. It is an interesting place for many foreign visitors. In addition to many ruins dating back to the 19th century, you will find the church of SaintHripsime, a magnificent basilica with three naves of the seventeenth century and a single nave church and ruins of a hermitage. The nature, mountains and fresh air of this region are breathtaking and give it a fancy appearance.

Goris is a crossroad of regional transport. The terrestrial network currently passes between Armenia and Iran.

Nearby is another tourist attraction, St. Hripsime Church of Dzagadzor in the village of Verishen. This church was built at the beginning of the 4th century on the site of the ancient pagan temple of Astkh. Remains of the ancient pagan temple still exist near the church and on the place of foundation. Numerous holes curved at different angles and the discovery of a telescopic instrument make us believe that there was an old observatory on the territory of the pagan temple.
