In a very nice and quiet area of Yerevan, in Nork Marash, there is a hotel that you will certainly like. The name of the administrative district of Nork comes from Nork district in Yerevan and from the ancient Armenian town Marash, which is today in the territory of Turkey. It's one of Yerevan's neighbourhoods. Nork-Marash is located east of downtown. The famous medical centre with the same name and other hospitals are located in this area.

The district was founded by survivors of the 1917 Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, who were expelled from the city of Kahramanmaraş, located in present-day Turkey.

In 1997, the manuscript collection was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
