You will be stunned by the diversity of the country: from crowded and noisy Yerevan evenings to silent hills and untouched mountains of its nearest provinces.
Enjoy the opportunity to experience a richly diverse riding tour accompanied by Armenian music, traditions and fresh agricultural products.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan − the capital of Armenia. Greeting and meeting, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your first day at leisure to the fullest.

Day 2 Yerevan – Caravanserei Selim – Armaghan Mountain
In the morning the guide will be waiting for you at the lobby of the hotel for the adventurous tour around the country.
We will depart to the southern province of Vayots Dzor. In a quiet hillside place we will explore ancient caravanserai of Selim. Later, we will meet the mountain guide and the diverse riding tour will start.
We will take a route to the volcanic Mount Armaghan, where alpine landscapes, beautiful small lake and green hilly crowns create harmonious combination.
After an interesting day, we will descend to the foot of the mountain, where we will stay overnight in tents. But before then traditional dishes of Armenian cuisine and beautiful evening around the campfire accompanied by majestic sounds of Armenian duduk will make our evening memorable.

Day 3 Armaghan – Sarnaghbyur
After breakfast we will continue our ride through beautiful, splendid meadows. On our way we will unpack plateau of Argichi with its crystal clear river. Later, we will stop for lunch in the settlement of Karadzi. In this lovely spot we will have the privilege of being present at the preparation of cheese and other dairy products and taste delicious agricultural products.
Next, we will head to the village of Sarnaghbyur, but on the way we will stop at St. Vardan Church built in the 4th-5th centuries and restored in 1857.
By the evening we will have reached Sarnaghbyur and there we will have a delicious traditional dinner in this small but warm-hearted village.
Our day will be concluded here, and new discoveries will be waiting for us the next day.

Day 4 Sarnaghbyur – Spitakasar
Mornings in Sarnaghbyur are always fresh and cool.
After breakfast we will ride to the foot of the mountain range Geghama and admire the unique landscape panoramas of Lake Sevan. We will also cross the quiet village of Dzoragyugh hidden deep in mountains. While riding, the Mount Small Spitakasar will be unveiled in front of us. If you wish, we can climb the mountain.
In the evening we will set up a tent and stay there overnight.

Day 5 Spitakasar
Today we will spend another riding day in the mountains near Spitakasar. In the evening we will enjoy Armenian traditional barbeque with some wine around the campfire.
One more night will be spent in tents.

Day 6 Spitakasar – Yeranos – Noratus – Hayravank – Sevanavank– Yerevan
In the morning we will walk to the village of Yeranos, and our riding tour will come to its end.
We will proceed to the ancient cemetery of Noratus, which is famous for numerous khachkars. Next, we will head to the village of Hayravank located on the western shore of Lake Sevan. We will visit Hayravank Monastery built in the 9th century, which overlooks magnificent Lake Sevan.
Later, we will drive to Sevan Peninsula to explore another precious ancient monument − Sevanavank Monastery. Due to the great location, we will have a fantastic view over the "Blue Pearl" and its nearby area.
In the evening we will return to the hotel in Yerevan to enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 7 Yerevan: Matenadaran – Megerian Carpets – Tsitsernakaberd
Good morning and welcome back to Yerevan. Our guide will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby. We will explore the landmarks and main places of interest in the city. First destination to be revealed is the Matenadaran − place full of valuable manuscripts and books magnificently illuminated and preserved in special storages over many centuries.
After we finish our observation mission in the Matenadaran, we will head to Megerian carpet factory, where numerous rugs exhibited in the museum of the factory represent the long history of Armenian rug-making art. In this traditional place we will taste some exceptional interpretations of the Armenian traditional recipes.
Later, we will visit the Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial.
In the evening you will be dropped-off at your hotel.

Day 8 Return flight 
Transfer to the airport. Have a nice flight!
