Armenia Like Never Before

This trip takes you to Kapan. The densely-wooded Shikahogh State Preserve is located south of Kapan. The fauna of the reserve has been analyzed in detail, but wolves, red foxes, wild cats, deer, badgers and wild goats can be definitely found here. The leopard is considered vulnerable to extinction. Among birds, the Caspian snowcock, bearded- and griffon vultures can be named in the reserve.

You will also explore Tatev, the most famous monastery of Armenia. There you will find the longest cable car in the world. Take the opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking ride on the longest cableway, accompanied by the stunningly picturesque scenery of Mt. Ughtasar and Mt. Karahunj. The historic sites, which you will see on the hiking tour, fit naturally into the heart of the countryside. They offer an eloquent testimony of harmony, in which the nature and culture of Armenia are in perfect tune with each other.
